The AACI provides an anti-corruption certification program that leads to the most effective means for management to battle fraud and corruption. When a member passes the program exam, (s) he will be certified as Certified Anti-Corruption Manager ® ©(CACM) ® ©.
The Certified Anti-Corruption Manager ® ©(CACM) ® © exam tests a candidate’s knowledge of current internal control, due diligence, fraud auditing practices, understanding of anti- fraud and corruption issues, and risks and remedies.
The exam is offered in one part consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions. The testing period is two hours and twenty minutes.
The AACI Advisory Board approved a grandfather CACM certification path for eligible candidates. Except that the CACM candidate will not sit for the CACM exam, all the reminder eligibility requirements are still valid, required and expected to be completed by a CACM candidate before (s)he becomes qualified as a CACM.
The eligibility requirements to apply for the CACM are as follow: A CACM candidate shall

1. Have a bachelor degree from an accredited college or university, and
2. Have three years of experience in a managerial position accompanied with managerial responsibilities, and
3. Pass the Certified Anti-Corruption Manager ®©(CACM) ®©exam, and
4. Provide an assertion to non-prior indictment in any act to the discredit of the code of ethics of the Institute, and
5. Abide by the AACI code of ethics, and
6. Satisfy the AACI continuing professional educational (CPE) requirements, and
7. Maintain a good standing and membership in the Institute

CACM Syllabus
The CACM syllabus consists of the below stated subject matter areas. It is designed to equip management and those charged with governance with the core body of knowledge of the cutting-edge know-how and skills to empower them to fight corruption as management rather than specialized fraud fighters.
Currently, the AACI is engaged in preparing the CACM Review material including its software edition. The CACM Review material will be available in January 2015 for the CACM candidates who will sit for CACM exam in January 2016.

Research is one of the justifications of the AACI existence.
The nature of corruption and its dynamics dictate the multidisciplinary research needed to achieve the objectives of research.
The AACI believes that there is a significant lack of empirical research in the associated fields of corruption.
The AACI also believes that effective research results will be realized when stakeholders collaborate to facilitate conducting empirical research rather than funding mere research.
The AACI cooperates with several research centers and academic institutions in the US and internationally while its activities are supervised by the AACI Research Advisory Committee, a subcommittee of the AACI Board of Advisors.
